A large landslide blocked a portion of one of Canada's major rivers, with this event occurring nearly 1 year ago. Today's video discusses what in hindsight is one of the best instances of a landslide caused outburst flood in the 21st century, and the damage it ended up causing. This video discusses what exactly happened, and why the river close to the landslide site in spots so notably changed its path.
