'Strong Backbends Vinyasa Flow' is a 40-minute yoga practice for the whole body! It’s the fourth week of backbends in January 2022. This week’s practice dives deep into big and strong backbends connected through vinyasa flows. Throughout the month of January, we’ve been building up our backbending practice, and in this practice, we explore big poses like Bow, Wild Thing, Baby Camel, and Wheel. Combined with vinyasa flows and Sun Salutations, this practice is rather strong – truly a full body yoga flow!

If you’re new to backbends or you have any aches or pains going on, take it really easy or go back to the earlier videos (in Jan 2022) and slowly build up to this practice to keep your body safe. Also, I would say that this practice is most suitable for afternoons or early evenings when the body has been awake and moving for some time already. Especially, if you’re as stiff as I am in the mornings, this might be too much as a morning yoga practice 😉

This practice is suitable for all levels but I would say it's best suited for intermediate to advanced yogis. Optional props: a yoga block and perhaps a strap, but you might go through the practice without any props as well!
