Project Fast Fish: 318 Stroker Build - Part 2
Season 1: Episode 4

Parts and links are provided below.

Project Fast Fish is based on the restoration and modification of a Plymouth Barracuda. This video features a walk-through of a 318 to 349 stroker build and represents Part 2 of 3.

We look at installing the piston assembly and run into a little speed bump before the episode is done. We had a spare 318 engine that was once housed in the ‘73 Barracuda. After having the crank and cam installed, we complete the rotating assembly by putting together the balanced piston assembly, by installing the pins and connecting rods, installing the rings, and placing the piston assemblies into the cylinder bores.

A 318 with .030 over and a 3.58” stroke from the 360 crank equals 349 ci. Our goal is to sell this stroker and use the proceeds to help build Project Fast Fish.
