"My name is Rosalia, and I am from Chicago, Illinois. I am here because I have wanted to get my nose done for a while and I've done all the research on all the doctors for the last 3-5 years. I haven't found someone that made me feel as comfortable as Dr. Dugar. I was looking for something very specific because I didn't want much of a change, but I wanted a more refined, feminine, version of myself. I want to be a little bit more confident on camera, on profile. I honestly want what I already have, but just a subtle version of it, a subtle change.

So, today we are working on Rosalia's nose. She is a gorgeous patient from Chicago and has a beautiful face and a great nose, we don't have to do that much. And that's the favorite type of patient that I usually deal with is patients who don't need too much with my closed Scarless Rhinoplasty Technique. With her nose specifically, she is worried about the width of her nasal bones and the strength of her side profile. She also feels that when she smiles her nose hooks down a little bit, which are the three most common complaints we get from patients including also bulbous round tips and asymmetry and crookedness sometimes. In her case she also has a deviation of her nasal septum so we are going to be fixing her breathing during the procedure as well. With her nasal bones they are a little wide so we want to narrow that so that it will give her a little more elegance from her frontal view. And then from the side profile she feels that her nose is a little too strong so we are going to shave down her profile just to give her a little bit of softness and then elevate her tip just a touch. The key would be really subtle maneuvers to give her that elegance that she has always wanted. Well we are about to go into surgery right now to take on Rosalia's nose for her Scarless Nose procedure. Let's get to it.

Step 1: Injecting Local Anesthesia
Step 2: Making the incisions to address the deviated septum
So we are making our incision along the caudal edge of the septum to to access her septum to correct the deviated portion.
Step 3: Removing crooked pieces of cartilage from the deviated septum to give her better breathing the rest of her life.
So we are pulling out the deviation, this part was crooked along the side of her nose so by correcting it and taking this crooked part out we are able to give her better breathing from the inside of her nose.
Step 4 &5: Making incisions into the nose to address her strong cartilaginous and bony profile
Step 6: Shaving the cartilaginous profile by removing small slivers of cartilage.
So we are showing how we are removing just a sliver of cartilage. This one micro-millimeter of cartilage that we have removed from the profile will allow us to soften her profile and next we will go after the bone.
Step 7: Shaving down the bony profile to reduce the strength of the bone
So we have shaved down her cartilaginous profile so this has become a lot softer. Now we are going to go after the bony profile. Here higher up is the bone, and how we do that is by using an instrument called the
