Drone Technology for the conservation of Forest and Wildlife:

Aerial Seeding/Tree & Grass plantation by Seedball/Pallet broadcasting:
⦁ Drone technology can help in restabilising the climate and scale up reforestation operation by planting seeds with both Speed and Accuracy.
⦁ We have work experience with Forest Department in Aerial seeding using Drone technology for Reforestation.

Can we plant 1 lakh trees per day!
Yes, it is possible with the help of drone Technology. One Human can work 8 to 10 hours a day and plant roughly about 60-70 trees per day. Whereas Drone is capable of dropping upto 40,000 seeds per day. According to our experiment rate of successful germination of seeds is 32.8%. If we consider rate of successful germination is only 20% still drone can plant 8000 trees per day. Means 13 drones can plant 1 lakh trees per day. Its huge advantages for Reforestation and to balance ecosystem.

Other Applications of Drone in Forestry:

1. Aerial Documentary of Forest:
⦁ Drone technology provides high resolution (4k Resolution) Videography/Photography with detailed annotation for tree plantation planning & Forest area documentary.

2. Aerial Assessment & Survey of Forest Area:
⦁ Drone fly at a height of 100-150 feet and takes Photographs with Geo-Reference & GPS data to assess the encroachment areas. Then processing the captured data into software to get Geographical Details of Forest by Digital Map.
⦁ Forest Inventory Monitoring: 3-D Model creation helps to determine Tree Density (Gap) & height.

3. Post Assessment of Forest Fire/Natural Disaster damage:
⦁ Drone with multiple sensor can help to get data for mapping natural disaster damage and extent of wildfire damage and estimate volume of a burn. Shorter data acquisition times and less production time for the orthomosaic helps to improve disaster response and monitoring efforts.

4. Surveillance and Patrolling Service (Yearly Basis):
⦁ Drone Technology can assist in tracking illegal activities like theft of precious trees and plant from forest without prior permission of concern by keeping an eagle eye on large scale of forest area.
⦁ Patrolling service at forest using Drone technology not only during Day time but also at Night using Thermal sensors can reduce the risk associated with Patrolling to the forest guard and can also save time and cost.

5. Tree Disease Detection and Prevention:
⦁ Drone with multispectral sensor can detect the location and health of each individual tree.
⦁ We have Pesticide Sprayer Drone to prevent trees from disease.

6. Wildlife (Sanctuary) Monitoring:
⦁ Drone can monitor Flora and Fauna to ensure their protection without disturbing ecosystem.
