Transformers Generation Two was an attempt to revitalize the brand, and at the time, many fans of the original toys were not thrilled. Flash forward thirty-plus years, and G2 has found a place in the hearts of many collectors. In this video, Captain Kyle reviews five homages to toys from the G2 line to see if they can find a way into your heart.

While G2 eventually gave way to Beast Wars, it left behind some awesome redesigns, recolors, and brand-new characters that have become part of Transformers lore. The Generation Two versions of Jazz, Sideswipe, and Ramjet have become classics. The Cyberjet Skyjack was recognized in a much larger form. And even the Rotor Force member Leadfoot was revived. Captain Kyle examines all these figures thoroughly.
