Описание к видео How I Made This Photo Print | Step By Step Process [Photoshop, DataColor Spyder, WhiteWall Lab]

Watch every step I took to professionally print this photo and hang it on my bedroom wall. I began by calibrating my computer monitor for color accuracy using DataColor's Spyder Pro 5. Then, I dove into Photoshop to make the final photo edit of my girlfriend and me surfing in Mexico. Finally, I sent it to WhiteWall Photo Lab for printing on an aluminum dibond.

As a digital photographer, I’ve had the urge and curiosity to print my photographs at a professional photo lab for years. However, the thought of paying hundreds of dollars for something I didn’t fully understand was always daunting and risky.

After reading a book about fine art printing and watching many tutorials on YouTube, I decided that my goal for this year would be to print my artwork.

To start, I had to pick something meaningful, so I went with my photo edit of Zoe and me surfing in Sayulita, Mexico. I knew we would love having this in our bedroom, where we could enjoy the memory every single day.

It was finally time to send to print after calibrating my monitor with @spyderbydatacolor, @photoshop edits, soft proofing, and some final touches.

@whitewall_lab was my choice after seeing the beautiful options on their website and the great reviews. The process was seamless, and their website resources were very helpful and easy to follow. The print arrived very quickly.

I’m extremely proud of my work to understand all the pieces involved in this process, and I know there is so much more to learn. Zoe and I will be thrilled to see this first thing in the morning and last thing at night.
