At the heart of the American Performer Telecaster’s design is its set of Yosemite single-coil pickups. These pickups have flat-staggered pole piece, with shellac coating on the neck pickup and wax potting for the bridge pickup, resulting in tone that’s versatile enough for any musical endeavor. These are excellent pickups that provide an extra layer of tonal versatility, and you'll only find them in the American Performers. Plus, the excellent Greasebucket tone circuitry makes it easy to contour your high-end without effecting other frequencies. The American Performer Telecaster also features a modern "C" shaped neck, 22 jumbo frets, and a 9.5" radius fingerboard, which all contribute to the guitar's remarkable playability and rock-solid in-hand feel. Made in Corona, California, the American Performer Telecaster is a remarkable instrument with wide-ranging tone and the unmatched playability you've come to expect from an authentic, USA-made Fender.
