AquaRest DayDream 4500 Hot Tub Spa Review (April 2020)

Описание к видео AquaRest DayDream 4500 Hot Tub Spa Review (April 2020)

This Spring, we purchased a Aquarest DayDream 4500 online from Clearwater Pool and Spa (Manchester, TN). It is a 6-person, 45 jet model, with an added Ozone system. The unit cost $3299, including delivery and NO TAX. This is a "plug and play" 110v unit that will run on a 15amp circuit, although we plan to update it to a dedicated hard-wired 50amp circuit later on.

PROS:
--The unit works great and is really fun for the whole family
--Holds temperature at 104 (i.e. the primary purpose of a hot tub)
--The ability to convert from "plug and play" to dedicated hardwiring at a later time
--Lots of great seating options for people of all sizes
--Roto-mold manufacturing process allows for some flex (2%) after placement; therefore, it can be placed on leveled crushed rocked
--I like the gray/black look over a wood look
--Free curbside delivery and no tax
--When jets are fully running, it creates a great spa feel
--My kids like the different LED light options; at night this makes the unit look nice

CONS:
--When using 110v "plug and play" the tub takes a LONG TIME to rise in temperature; in a colder climate, it could take 2 hours to raise 1 degree (this was expected, but should be noted)
--This is nit-picky, but it would be great if the LED light was under water; instead it surrounds the waterfall, thus it doesn't really light up the water like many other units do.
--If I continued to use the 110v set-up, it wound end up costing more in electricity costs over time, because the motor has to run more to get it up to temp and to maintain top temp
