FAUX LOC FAQ

Q: How long does it last?
A: Faux locs using the Jazz Nicole Method can last up to 8 weeks. However the recommended time is 4-6 weeks for protective styles.

Q: How can I wash it/ take care of it?

Q: Can I go swimming in these?
A: Yes.

Q: Can this work on long hair?
A: Yes. ( but your hair can not be longer than the locs you use )

Q: How do you moisturize your hair with this style in?
A: Before braiding my hair for this style I moisture my hair thoroughly with Shea Moisture lo porosity leave-in detangler http://go.magik.ly/ml/2v2f/
I use Jamaican black castor oil on my roots and my scalp every other night http://go.magik.ly/ml/27iu/

Q: How do you part your hair?
A: I just part it. I start in the back and I just feel my way around. I don’t stress about trying to make my parts straight or perfectly even. I may make a video in the future but I really don’t have any other tips to give regarding this.

Q: How long does this take?
A: every style takes a different amount of time. It all depends on the amount of locs and sections. 4-6 hours is usually the standard.
