Does your iron soleplate ever get grimy? We iron our fabrics, we iron our garments - we should maintain a clean iron so as not to ruin our beautiful fabrics and garments.

Keep it clean with a mix of 2 tsp of baking sode and 1 tsp of water. Turn it into a paste and rub it on the soleplate. Wait a few seconds and wipe it clean with a damp cloth.

Run some steam through your iron to get the residual paste out of any holes.
