Barton Landrum Series Test Clip

This is a quick sample of my new Barton Landrum series drums after initial unpacking a quick tuneup. The tuning needs to be tweaked some more. I am still getting used to a double bass set up which I have never owned. Minimal mics are used so you hear more of the natural sound of the drums rather than a processed sound. Only one kick drum has a mic; a pair of overheads and a room mic are the other mics used. Details below.

The kit:
Barton Landrum Series all Maple in Green Sparkle Lacquer
22x14 (2), 10x8, 12x9, 14x10, 16x14, 18x16, 14x6.5
Cymbals are a mixture of Paiste: Twenty Series, Masters Dark Series, Signature and Formula 602
Gibraltar, Yamaha and Tama Hardware
DW 9000 Pedals

Kit audio is recorded with only one kick mic, a pair of overheads and a room mic.
