The ninth annual CSRC Latina/o Education Summit brought together legal scholars, social scientists, advocates, and administrators in order to assess the impact and implications of the and the 2011 DREAM Act on Latina/o students. According to keynote speaker Michael A. Olivas, there are roughly 1.7 million immigrants currently in the U.S. who might meet the requirements for DACA. This year’s summit is presented in cooperation with the UCLA School of Law and the UCLA Graduate School of Education and Information Studies.

The opening remarks feature Carlos Haro, summit organizer, and featured speaker Rachel Moran, Dean and Michael J. Connell Distinguished Professor of Law, of the UCLA School of Law.
