URLs play a vital part in SEO. It is, therefore, not advisable to place IDs in public URLs. We usually place so-called slugs - convenient character strings that mirror the information the URL is advertising: the name of the person, the title of an article, etc.
But have you ever generated those slugs from the data? This video gives a creative take on the problem of generating SEO-compatible URLs from actual domain objects.
