Columbia SC Pond Hopping. August Edition.

Visiting a Chapin pond, a Columbia Parks and Recreation Dept pond, an Irmo/ Chapin Recreation Commission pond, and a Blythewood town park pond. No highlights from visiting the three Harbison ponds or the Lowman Home pond- apparently August is just Casting Practice Time for those four.

The glide bait that continues to impress me is Slayrite's Carolina Gill.

The lipless crankbaits that stand out are Windy City Lures' Carolina Gill and Carolina Haymaker.

As usual, anytime I throw the PSA color pattern in a new location, it gets BIT. This time it was the lipless and the big sq bill.

I lost the Daiwa TD Minnow on the fourth cast. But it caught fish on two of those casts.
