As I pull into the entry station of the Grand Canyon National Park, the excitement bubbles up inside me. The crisp morning air fills my lungs as I pull up to the entry station, greeted by the warm smiles of the park rangers. "Welcome to the North Rim!" they say, as I grab a map and the day’s adventure begins.

My first stop is the Grand Canyon Lodge, a charming haven nestled among the towering pines. I can’t resist capturing its rustic beauty against the backdrop of the canyon. The lodge feels like a step back in time, and I’m eager to fuel up with a hearty breakfast before setting off. And the light was perfect for a little black and white photography.

With my camera in hand, I hit the road, the sun casting a golden hue over the landscape. I make my way to Monarch Point, Roosevelt Point, Walhalla Overlook, Angels Window and finally Cape Royal. In each spot I’m instantly captivated by the sweeping views. The canyon stretches endlessly before me, layers of rock painted in hues of red and orange. I compose photos and record videos, trying to capture the essence of this breathtaking vista.

With each stop, I feel more connected to this incredible place. My final destination is Cape Royal, and the anticipation builds as I drive through the scenic roads. As I arrive, the panoramic views are nothing short of spectacular. The Colorado River winds like a ribbon through the canyon, and I take my time here, capturing the beauty from every angle.

As the sun begins to set, I make my way back to the Grand Canyon Lodge. The sky transforms into a canvas of oranges, pinks, and purples, casting a magical glow over Bright Angel Canyon. I find a perfect spot to watch the sunset, and I take a moment to reflect on the day. I record the breathtaking scene, knowing this is a moment I’ll cherish forever.
