🩺 Exciting new research reveals the causal relationship between premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) and cardiovascular diseases (CVD)! Using Mendelian Randomization, this study found that POI is linked to an increased risk of coronary heart disease (Odds Ratio 1.048) and ischemic stroke (Odds Ratio 1.010). However, no significant links were found with hypertension, heart failure, atrial fibrillation, or myocardial infarction.
