Truck drivers decry insecurity at Busia border

Long distance truck drivers have decried increasing cases of insecurity along the Kisumu- Busia and Eldoret- Malaba Highways in Busia county where they allege being robbed in broad daylight.Speaking in Malaba town the drivers led by their chairperson Peter Tanui noted that the thugs are taking advantage of the traffic snarl-up which has lasted for over two weeks. The drivers are calling on the security personnel to address the issue which has led to losses.
