Step-by-Step Guide to Registering a Private Limited Company in Pakistan
1) Visit the SECP Website
a)Go to secp.gov.pk and click on the SECP e-Services portal: LEAP.

2) Create an Individual Account

a) Click on Sign Up to create a login ID for company registration.
b) Fill in the required details, including your CNIC number, phone number, and email address.
c) Once registered, a PIN code will be sent to you via SMS or email. Save your CNIC, password, and PIN for future steps.

3) Log In to Your SECP Account
a) Use your login credentials to access your newly created SECP account.

4) Reserve Your Company Name

a) Click on Company Name Reservation and Incorporation under the List of Processes.
b) Enter your proposed company name along with two alternative names.

c) Select the appropriate Principal Line of Business.

5) Provide Company Details

a) Enter the company’s capital and address information.
b) Add the details of the proposed directors, including their CNIC, phone number, email, and share details.
c) Upload scanned copies of the CNIC (front and back) for each director.

6) Add Nominee/2nd Director Details

a) After adding the first director’s details, provide the same information for the nominee (2nd director).
b) Ensure the nominee also creates a SECP account and follows the same registration process.

7) Memorandum and Articles of Association (MOA & AOA)

a(Review and edit the Memorandum of Association (MOA) as needed.
b)Proceed to the Articles of Association (AOA) section and make any necessary adjustments.

8) Third-Party Information

a) Provide details for third-party registrations (if applicable).
b) Select the CTC option if required.

9) Review and Apply PIN

a)Review all entered information carefully.
b)Apply the PIN from the first director’s account.
c)Log in to the nominee’s account and apply their PIN as well.

10) Submit and Pay Fees

a) Once both PINs are applied, log back into the first director’s account and submit the application.
b) Proceed to payment using options like EasyPaisa, ATM, or bank transfer.

11) Wait for Approval

a) After submission, wait 2-3 working days for SECP to process your application.
b) If there are any objections, address them promptly and resubmit without additional fees.

12) Receive Registration Documents

Once approved, you’ll receive all necessary documents to open a bank account and proceed with other formalities.
