Whether it's intentional or not you going silent or ignoring a narcissist can lead to some pretty wild responses from them. This video dives in to some of the ways a narcissist might react when you go silent.

Now your silence could be you choosing to be done and go no contact. You could be really angry and just decide that you're going to give the narcissist a silent treatment. Maybe you're exhausted from dealing with this person and you're giving yourself a break.

Perhaps NONE of those things are happening but this delusional narcissist you're dealing with is upset that you're working and not texting back fast enough or not answering your phone because you're driving somewhere.

Silence is one of the worst things you can do to a narcissist, again whether you mean to or not. A narcissist relies on people for their emotional supply and emotional regulation.
