Keep reading for more info, but the basic steps to make this work are:

1. Download the Nightly Build for pcsx2, which you can get here:

If it doesn't work for you, try downloading a different version. At the time of posting this, what worked for me is Windows - v1.7.3479, Windows 64bit - SSE4 - Qt. But do what is right for your application.

It will be a zip file. Unzip it, and put the entire SCUS-97213 folder in the "Textures" folder in the pcsx2 directory. Then, put 1DF41F33.pnach to the folder cheats_ws.

3. Graphics settings in pcsx2:

Renderer: Direct3D 11
Adapter: your video card

Rendering tab: texture filtering: Bilinear PS2. Make sure "GPU Palette Conversion" and "Manual Hardware Renderer Fixes" are checked.

Upscaling fixes tab: Round sprites: Half

Texture replacement tab: make sure "load textures" and "Async Texture Loading" are checked
