The Thorek Memorial Chicago Hospital Adult Mental Health Program is a clinically directed program designed to provide comprehensive mental health treatment to patients, 18 years of age or older, in a calming and comfortable environment.

Our Chicago mental health professionals help patients to regain emotional health and well-being. When a patient is admitted into the program, a supportive and experienced team of specialists will work with that patient to develop an individualized treatment plan. This personalized plan will address the patient’s immediate needs and establish goals for ongoing treatment. The treatment process includes individual, group and family therapies, along with various expressive and relaxation therapy programs.

Our collaborative, interdisciplinary team of specialists has extensive experience working with people who have psychological, social and physical illnesses. Throughout the treatment process, patients will work with:

Our team treats all patients with dignity and respect, while reinforcing personal health and well-being. In addition, all of our staff are certified both in CPR and in a nationally recognized crisis prevention program.
