During a music workshop at our Arts and Crafts Centre, something special happened 💛

Paul, one of our Artmakers, is usually happiest listening from his seat, but something wonderful happened when workshop leader Mike began to play Yesterday on the clarinet. Paul joined in on the keyboard and sang into the mic, which is a huge step for him and led to a truly beautiful moment!

Mike told us, “I think this extract reveals close, comfortable interaction and a real sense of joyous connection within the music.”

We couldn’t agree more. Music has such a powerful way of bringing people together, and this was a perfect example. 💛

Video description: Paul sits in a classroom environment singing, sat behind a keyboard. He turns to Mike as he starts to play the clarinet and they share eye contact, before Paul continues singing. He sings into the mic. As the song finishes, Paul beckons Mike closer and gives him a side hug. The video ends as Paul applauds.
