I don't want to be dramatic and say this is the last video I ever upload, but it will definitely be the last one for a while.

Someone else said it better than I could: "Cloti is locked in, but I want better for Tifa. She's such a great character who deserves to be appreciated and celebrated more."

And, honestly... it's hard for me to cheer for Cloti when SE is constantly pairing Cloud with another woman. This herring is a little too red. For nearly three decades, they've continued to drive the idea that Cloud is Tifa's priority while she's only his option. A second and sometimes even third option. And twenty-eight years later, it's not cute anymore. So I'm giving up on them. Maybe not forever. But until SE learns how to market their characters in a way that doesn't feel like it's betraying them. Until Ever Crisis feels more like an extension of FFVII, not some stupid excuse to give Cloud a harem. Until Cloud and Tifa’s romance is as celebrated as any other canon Final Fantasy pairing, not treated like a joke, an option, or dismissed completely.

My heart breaks every time someone says “It doesn’t matter if Clouds ends up with Tifa or not.”

It matters. It matters a lot. For his character. For the story. For Tifa not to be this submissive stepping stone for him to stomp his boots all over… And far too many people would rather rewrite Cloud’s character than accept that.
