Moisturizing is just as crucial for oily, acne-prone skin as it is for dry skin. When you skip moisturizer, your skin overcompensates by producing more oil, which can worsen acne.

On the flip side, using a comedogenic moisturizer ( even a lightweight one) can trap oil, dirt, and dead skin cells, leading to clogged pores and more acne.

Choose moisturizers labeled “oil-free” and “non-comedogenic” to hydrate without triggering breakouts, and you’ll notice better, healthier skin over time. So always choose one according to what your skin needs.
