In today's IQ Pro video, Hayden walks you through the basics of using wired sensors with the IQ Pro. Being designed as a hybrid panel, the IQ Pro will, for the most part, walk you through the required programming of the sensors, however, it can be a little confusing to new users of the system. Because the IQ Pro uses the IQ coding, the verbiage between the system and the installer app isn't exactly clear. For example, zone 1 on the panel is called "Panel Input 1 Slot 2" in the systems programming, so Hayden clarifies how to approach that as well. Programming the zones is very straightforward though once you understand the process. It also helps to review the reference manual for the IQ Pro so you know all of the options that are going to be provided to you during the programming. Each sensor has a set of "Sensor Group" options that will determine how the sensor operates. There are way to many to cover in a video, so a little homework will be necessary, but we cover the common options in the video.
