Скачать или смотреть 4 Epic Hidden Gems in The Peak District

The Peak District is full of hidden gems, and in this video, we are exploring four of them, we found all of these hidden gems in a similar area, making for a peaceful and quiet getaway into this part of the Derbyshire Peak District.

Magpie Mine: This mine was one of the last working lead mines in Derbyshire, this mine closed in 1958 and the remains are extremely intact today, allowing you to get a great idea about the workings of this mine and how it would have looked in its prime, entry is totally free to Magpie Mine and parking is extremely close.

Lathkill Dale: This hike goes from Over Haddon to Monyash, Lathkill Dale is full of amazing views, it is a limestone valley home to lots of nature and great sites, you can explore the ruins of Batemans House and even go underground beneath the house to see down into a mineshaft itself.

Robin Hood's Stride & Cratcliffe: Robin Hood's Stride was the location in which many scenes from the Princess Bride were filmed, located right next to it is Cratcliffe, giving you epic views over the Peak District from the top!

Nine Stones Close Stone Circle: Not quite the Nine Ladies Stone Circle (as that would be too well known for a hidden gems video) but Nine Stones Close, much smaller, only 4 stones standing today but in a very serene and peaceful location, a short 5-minute walk from Robin Hood's Stride and a great place to explore.
