Kayak Camping ~ Lake James State Park

I enjoyed a kayak camping overnighter with my good friend Bobby Darrin at the Lake James State Park in North Carolina. We reserved one of the paddle in spots right on the point. The paddle to this spot took about 45 minutes or so. A beautiful spot to hang our hammocks or tent camp. There are 30 camping spots at the Long Arm Peninsula. Tent camp or hammock camp. Plenty of trees to hang your hammock if you want. You can only get there by boat. Each camping site has a picnic table and a fire pit. Also, there is a pit toilet here that I didn't show in the video. You have to make a reservation online.
