Mission Pacific Beach Resort: Oceanside, California

This year I applied and was approved for the Chase sapphire preferred credit card with a sign up bonus of 60,000 points. I used some of the points to be redeemed for a stay at the Mission Pacific Beach resort JDV by Hyatt in Oceanside, California. The hotel is a category six hotel in the Hyatt collection. It was 25,000 points per night or it was $258 per night if paid by cash. I used this redemption because my cousin was visiting from Vancouver Canada and we wanted to show them a great hotel and a great spot that exhibits the California beach vibe.
