British embassy security guard spied for Russia

A Briton who worked as a security guard at the British embassy in Berlin is facing jail for spying for Russia.

The Old Bailey was told David Smith passed top security documents to the Russians.

He was motivated by a "hatred" for the UK, the court heard.
