Octane Raceway Titanium GP - Competitive Pole Position Race

Octane held a Titanium member appreciation event with a competitive race for some prizes, gift cards and nascar tickets. The first two hours of available races were counted as qualifying races. The fastest lap time recorded during that time would determine the starting position for the final race.

Qualifying was run on reverse track (CW) and the final race was run normal (CCW). I posted a 27.262 during qualifying and was placed 10/12. Race results and lap times can be seen at the end of the video.

Everyone in this race has put a lot of hours in these karts and on this track, and in racing outside of octane. Tuesday nights are pole position racing, and Thursday is reverse track.

Some Tips: Watch @ 6:00 for a good view of what the racing line looks like following the kart ahead. Braking points to get the kart to rotate, or no brakes at all and just lift the accelerator. The start/finish line for lap timing is at the desk to the right of pit exit.
