Dry summer weather brings risk of wildfires and associated air polution that is unhealthy for people and pets. Lets test the effectiveness of Tesla's HEPA air filtration system and compare it to a conventional automotive HVAC system. I used a portable air quality monitor to measure PM2.5, PM1.0 and PM10 particulate matter in the air outside and inside of my Tesla Model Y with the famed HEPA filter. PM2.5 polution is often associated with air polution from wildfire smoke.
