By changing to a harder variation of this opener, where we use Cliffheart to help with killing the rightmost Thrower, and also replacing Skyfire for someone much cheaper, with a max pot Vendela being the best candidate, it is possible to completely remove Waai Fu from the clear. Unfortunately, the gacha gods did not let me have Vendela, and I couldn't find one in the support operators list, so I gave up on that.

We have to deploy Cliffheart, and THEN Mint, after the Thrower walks into range, otherwise Cliffheart will be targeted instead and die. We wait until 2 of the 3 Throwers spawn and are in her range to activate her skill. Usually, hook skills pull enemies specifically towards the front of the operator, and stop shifting them once they reach the destination. However, by retreating the operator mid-pull, enemies will instead continue moving according to their momentum. We abuse this here to safely deliver the 2 Throwers into Kazemaru's range, while ensuring Mint will still be able to tank them, due to being the last deployed operator.
