Danish Christmas plates are collectibles and often used as wall décor. It’s helpful to remember the plates are also food safe. With the beautiful blue and white pattern, this dishes would make great dinnerware and serving plates year round. They are released every year by porcelain manufacturers in Demark. Each mold is discontinued after Christmas Eve. The first annual Christmas plate was produced by Bing & Grøndahl in 1895. Royal Copenhagen started making the plates in 1908.
