I spent a while at Guide Bridge Railway Station, east of Manchester on a warm and sunny morning on the 26th of September 2025, and observed the following train movements before Blue Peter arrived.

The 2R08 passenger service running from Manchester Piccadilly to Rose Hill Marple was operated by Northern class 195 Diesel Multiple Unit number 195020.

The 1U35 passenger service running from Manchester Piccadilly to Stalybridge was operated by northern class 185 Diesel Multiple Units numbers 185142 and 185137.

The 2G09 passenger service running from Manchester Piccadilly to Hadfield was operated by Northern Electric Multiple Unit number 323213.

The 2G48 passenger service running from Hadfield to Manchester Piccadilly was operated by Trans Pennie Express Multiple Unit number 323231.

The 1z32 White Rose excursion service running from Hereford to York was operated by heritage steam Locomotive Blue Peter BR 60532 LNER Peppercorn Class A2 and was Photobombed at Guide Bridge station but was able to catch it at Hyde Central.
