What is a QSEHRA? A qualified small employer health reimbursement arrangement (QSEHRA) is a health benefit designed specifically for employers with fewer than 50 full-time equivalent employees (FTEs).

With a QSEHRA, employers reimburse employees tax-free for their qualified medical expenses, including individual health insurance premiums.

What are the benefits of a QSEHRA?
1. A QSEHRA enables employers to set allowance caps, effectively giving them complete control over their costs. Once the caps are set, they cannot be exceeded.
