While many have long thought Sachse to be nothing more than farmland, they would be surprised to find that this northeastern corner of DFW is quickly growing into a shiny new suburb. In fact, in the last 20 years Sachse’s population has more than doubled, landing at around 26,000.
Although all of Sachse’s surrounding areas are springing up as well, meaning tons of new construction and entertainment, the city has not let go of its country feel. Just take a drive down Sachse road and you’ll see beautiful green pastures with horses all around. It’s no wonder that the majority of Sachse’s population is married couples and families.

Speaking of scenery, Sachse is also right next to Lake Ray Hubbard and Lake Lavon! Sachse is not short on land and offers its residents numerous parks and trails to enjoy. The city’s plethora of land also makes it the perfect place if you’re looking to buy land. Many homeowners in the area are settled on anywhere from 1 to 10 acres.

Surrounded by new construction, new retail, and new dining all around in Murphy, Firewheel, Wylie, and Garland, employment opportunities are everywhere and because of the George Bush Tollway and Highway 78, everything is easy to access!

Because Sachse is in both Dallas and Collin counties, Sachse boasts numerous schooling options. On the Dallas side, Garland ISD is an open school district meaning parents can choose the best schools around for their kids so long as they have transportation. In Collin County there may be less options but Wylie ISD campuses are almost all at least a 7/10!
In short, Sachse is the new up and coming place to be that still offers quiet relief from the hustle and bustle of the city.
