Speed of the video 1300% I continue to work on my mod for the game Heroes 3 Might and Magic, and in this issue of the developer diaries I share the work on the icons for the units, closing all the gaps in the missing icons for all new units. Basically, this is work with collages and the search for interesting photographs for reconstruction to resemble the original 3D model, I had to draw some things myself, but in general this is technical work, painstaking. It was very important to find the right balance of color gamut, sharpness and brightness, so that the quality of the icons would not be inferior to the original ones - the original icons themselves were listened to as a standard and were the basis for working with colors. As for the composition, here I had to look for the right angles, compress and change individual elements of the composition, for example, reduce the size of the arm or increase the torso, to fill small frames. The small resolution of the icons does not allow making a very detailed object, so it is very important to make accents.
