Sabarimala: 1,500 Police Personnel Deployed as Daily Pilgrim Count Exceeds 1 Lakh | India Today

Authorities have implemented extensive crowd management measures at the Sabarimala shrine to handle the influx of over 100,000 daily pilgrims. Nearly 1,500 police personnel have been deployed to maintain order. The temple briefly halts entry to the sanctum sanctorum twice daily for five minutes each. Sabarimala, dedicated to Lord Ayyappa, is located in Kerala's Periyar Tiger Reserve.
