Rare Video of status of Vrishabhavathi river (Kengiri Mori) by a drone shot.

Vrishabhavathi River starting point is near Kadumalleshwara Temple and ending in Byramangala Lake also it's called Vrishabhavathi Reservoir. In the urban area it is covered by concrete approximately 1km while the remaining 56km is open river.

This video will show the present Vrishabhavathi river status. From this we came to know heavily modified and egregiously polluted. It does not exist in the natural form.Some parts occupied by Land owners. The river was once so pristine that the water from it was used for drinking and used by the famous Gali anjaneya temple but now highly polluted with human waste, Industrial effluents and solid waste. River width has drastically changed in some places, becoming narrow or small width. Due to this we are getting flooded in Pramoda layout, Rajarashwari Nagar, Mysore road and few more places in the rainy season.
