Documents:
Original and Photocopy of applicant current passport (if
Dual nationality)
Original and Photocopy of Birth certificate (showing details of parents)

If under 18 years, provide the following
i) Copy of the Data Page of both parents passport, at least one of which must be a Nigerian Passport.
ii) Letter of consent signed by both parents. In absence of documents or consent of either of the parents, proof of sole custodian from the court must be provided.
iii) in the event of death of Nigerian parent, a copy of the Death Certificate must be provided.


If above 18 years provide the following: i) Copy of Data page of Nigerian Passport of one of the parents. ii) In the event of death of Nigerian parent, a copy of the Death Certificate must be provided.

If born outside the UK provide a copy of the appropriate documents used to enter the country. Additionally, if any document provided is not in English, please provide translated version which must be signed and stamped by registered/certified translator.
