The G26X has been a meme for years, with some calling it “the greatest EDC never made” because Glock, for reasons unknown, has not given us this gun; the slide of the Glock 26 with the grip length from the Glock 19. The result, says GlockStore, is a handgun that’s easier to carry than the G19 and easier to shoot well than the G26.

Does the G26X live up to the hype? There was only one way to find out, so we headed over to GlockStore to shoot it back-to-back with two of our other favorite guns that compete for the title, the Glock 19 and the Shadow Systems CR920XP.
