This 1966 Lotus Elan S3 was modified for vintage racing in the 2000s and fitted with a fuel-injected 2.0L Cosworth BDG inline-four. The car was previously sold on BaT in March 2024 and subsequently acquired by the selling dealer. Equipment includes a four-speed dog-box manual transmission, a limited-slip differential, a dry-sump oil system, 13” magnesium knock-on wheels, adjustable coilovers, and 26R-specification disc brakes. The body features a louvered hood, a front spoiler, and Lexan windscreens, while the interior has been fitted with a roll cage, a Tillet carbon-fiber racing seat, a Sparco harness, a fire suppression system, and a Wilwood pedal set with adjustable brake bias. In 2023, the engine was rebuilt, and the twin-plate clutch assembly and the MSD ignition module were replaced. This Elan race car is now offered with two extra sets of wheels, tools, spare parts, and a bill of sale.
