Pubs and Sun: A Perfect Day in Dublin, Ireland

After such an amazing trip first trip throughout the UK and Ireland, we couldn't wait to come back. So just five months later, we boarded a train to Chicago, took a flight to Stockholm, and then another to Dublin. This time, we would be spending an entire MONTH on the Emerald Isle. Having done many of the "touristy" things on our first trip, we felt free to just take it easy this time and experience some of Dublin's hidden gems. We went to parks, sat in a rose garden, heard lots of live music, pub crawled, ate some amazing vegan meals at Cornucopia and Brother Hubbard, and toured the Jameson Distillery on Bow Street. Through some combination of the golden sunshine after a long Michigan winter, the green grass and blooming flowers, and the special energy that courses through Dublin, we had one of the best days of our lives. Dublin has our hearts.
