We started off a little later than we wanted to due to trying to finish a bed for PBs daughter. This trip was on January 3rd, and PB was about to have a massive ankle surgery/reconstruction, with all that said we still got to Sougahoagdee Falls in the beautiful Bankhead National Forest with plenty of time to spare, and set up camp. The falls are amazing, but be careful because there is another waterfall on the trail that might make you think you've made it, so be sure to look for a sandy-like beach area in front of the falls, and you will be at the right spot. Overall, the trail to the falls is about two miles long and fairly easy with one steep hill that can get slippery. The surrounding area is beautiful with rock faces, and other trails you can check out. There is also a trail that goes all the way around the ravine of the waterfall. This would be a great trip for a family, or just a couple of friends. I hope you enjoy the video! Thanks for watching once more!
