Jean-Marc was born in Paris, France in 1978. He get in the music very young, having his first synthetizer at 7 years old. Since this time he never left music out of his life, knowing the very beginning of the electronic music on Atari and some software not so well know at this time like Cubasis 1. After experiencing music creation on computer since 13 years, he made the Music as his job in 2003.
Bart was born in St Barthélémy, Guadeloupe in 1984, a little caribeen island and went in france at the age of 17 years old. Start djing in friends party at 13 years old and approached the real way of music at the same time, playing guitare. He arrived in paris to start Computer Ingeener study and then made a mix of his two passions, Computer and Music, to start making Psy Trance in 2003.
They met each other in 2002 djing as resident in the same club, The GIBUS Club that is well known in france to have been the place of beginning for famous artists like Daft Punk, Bob Sinclar and some rock bands like The Police.
After one year playing together, they started making psy trance music in the beginning of 2003 releasing their first track in the end of the same year. After ten released tracks they needed more work and time to release more mature stuff, their first album "Warning Zone" in aurgust 2006 with Mind Control Records. It was the beginning of the internationnal work of X.S.I in places such as Japan, Brazil, Russia, Portugal and many more.
They experienced to make music in differents paths after some collaborations with Mad Maxx, Nomad, Massive, Quality Sound, John Phantasm & for sure Talamasca, with which one they released a collaboration album Talamasca vs XSI "Round 1" on Mind Control Records & Parabola Music. Right after they release a dance floor killer album with only versus tracks under the name XSI & Friends with which one they played all around the globe, as lately Mexico, Russia, Brazil, Japan and many more. During this time, Jean-marc started his solo psy trance project, Bionix with his very fresh released album TECHNOID. And after some remix for some well known artists like Astrix - Sex Style (XSI Rmx), Robert Miles - Children (XSI Rmx) both released not long ago, they are now finishing a full Remix Album with the all-stars trance artists as GMS, Skazi, Astrix, Xerox & Illumination, Eskimo, Pixel & Wrecked Machines, Krunch and some more. A smart name came out naturally for this album as RmXSI. As if it was not enough a new project is on the way with Mad Maxx that will be announced soon as Bass Monkeys.
