Baimei Quann / Sup Jee Kuen / Tens sign fist

Baimei Quan is a style created by a Taoist monk named Bai Mei. "White Eyebrow" is a sign of wisdom, and can also mean a white headband. It is one of the three main southern short bridge styles, including yunchun and nan tanlan (Southern Praying Mantis). All three styles have their own versions of Sticky Hands and specialize in close combat.
Baimei is an interesting and compact style. There are methods of both external and internal development in it; Qigong is used to enhance Wogong, and Wogong is used to enrich Qigong.
Baimei movements are energetic, fast and very effective. The quick, explosive quality of their effort is inextricably linked to muscle relaxation and correct engagement. The emphasis on mid-to-short distance in baimei is based on characteristic footwork and unique "step search". The Phoenix Eyes fist and the whip-like hand movements are similar to the Fujian bai hequan ("Kulaom of the White Crane"). The steps are small and rounded with good rooting. The principle of "Submission of two hands with one" is used. Baimei is a dynamic style that combines whips, chopping and piercing in an aggressive manner. This corresponds to four basic oral formulas: Absorb (tun), Spit out (tou), Hang up (pho), and Immerse (chun).
