In this video I willl be doing a fall design with Mia Secrets Formagel. Because I'll be encapsulating I decided to do the "lazygirl method".Basically all that means that I will be attaching full cover tips with hard builder gel instead of polygel.
I prefer gel over polygel, I find it easier to work with, and my nails don't particularly like polygel. Its usually too soft for me.

I have tried a lot of different builder gels over the years, and I've only just started dabbeling with Mia Secret brand. So far I haven't had any issues, but as you can see in the video I'm careful not to put dark or opaque color over the nailbed area, I need to know that the builder gel will cure the whole way through. My biggest fear is to have a big amount of builder gel on my nails, where its partially uncured. This is a real allergy trigger.

Normally I use the coffin full cover tips from Beetles (apres dupes), but this was intended to be a quick and easy tutorial. I have on the other hand used Beetles gel polish and "nail glue" to attach gems. On the other hand I hope this was useful for the ladies that like to attach presson nails with gel.

Im also happy that I was able to share my little "nail hack" using nail transfer foils to hold down stiff and uncooperative nail decorations. I would always use Modelones foil glue, but its rubbish compared to the one from Naio.
Unless you are a die hard Modelones fan, if you're struggling with the foil not transferring, try a different brand.
