About 6 years ago, I made a video covering the original live-action pilot of The Backyardigans, which performed pretty well. However, in that video, I only briefly mentioned the CGI pilot. Since then, more information has surfaced about the CGI version, and I've somewhat lost hope of the live-action pilot ever being released (even though it has been found but remains unreleased). So, I decided to dive deeper into the CGI pilot.

The Backyardigans is a CGI-animated series that premiered on Nick Jr. in 2004, but its roots go back to 1998 when the concept was initially planned as a live-action show with actors in costumes. Eventually, this idea was scrapped in favor of CGI animation, and the rest is history.
