What you’re about to see is one of the most disturbing traffic stops I’ve seen in recent months — and it happened right here in the United States, in Jacksonville, Florida.

William McNeil Jr., a 22-year-old African American man, is pulled over in broad daylight for allegedly not having his headlights on and not wearing a seatbelt. He calmly asks the officers why he’s being stopped. His hands are visible, his tone is respectful — but within minutes, the situation escalates in a way that should alarm every American who values their rights.

Watch closely as Officer D. Bowers smashes McNeil’s driver-side window, punches him in the face, and drags him out of his vehicle. All of this is caught on camera. McNeil ends up with a concussion, a chipped tooth, and memory loss — but according to the State Attorney’s Office, no criminal laws were broken by the officers.
